A source close to the couple told TMZ that Blake and Ryan are skipping this year's gala, but before jumping to conclusions, it has nothing to do with their legal war against Justin Baldoni, as the decision to opt out of the May event was made long before this drama unfolded.

Over the years, Blake has become an iconic figure when it comes to the Met Gala, her themed looks on the red carpet are always a huge hit, but she and Ryan don't always show up, and they missed it last year as well.
