Maryana Bezugla attacked Oleksandr Fedienko in the Rada over a bill on Cyber Forces and tried to snatch a piece of paper. Stefanchuk issued a reprimand to Bezugla, while she herself stated that she is not against the creation of Cyber Forces.

People's Deputy Maryana Bezuhla lashed out at her colleague, MP from the "Servant of the People" party Oleksandr Fedienko, during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada on April 30. This was reported by UNN with reference to the broadcast from the session hall of the Ukrainian parliament.

Details

Fedienko was speaking regarding the draft law on the Cyber Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: as of now, the document has not yet been adopted. Furthermore, Fedienko himself is one of the initiators of this regulatory act.

During his speech, he noted that the project cannot be considered because "one of the female deputies" introduced 1,000 amendments to delay the decision-making process. Fedienko also remarked that she was, unfortunately, not present in the hall.

Following this, Bezuhla lashed out at Fedienko with the words "You are lying!", attempted to snatch a piece of paper from his hands, and obstructed her colleague's speech. This moment was captured on video.

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk issued a reprimand to Bezuhla. Later, Bezuhla herself wrote on Telegram that she does not oppose the creation of the Cyber Forces of the AFU.

"I am not against cyber forces; I am against creating another headquarters for Syrskyi (Commander-in-Chief of the AFU - ed.) under a beautiful sign, where if you don't do what he wants, you'll be sent to the infantry. Is this really what cyber specialists want?"

- she wrote.

Additional Information

This is not the first instance where Maryana Bezuhla has had confrontations with her parliamentary colleagues. She has had clashes with Serhiy Taruta and Mykola Tyshchenko. She directed profanities at the latter.

Recall

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine entered information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations (ERDR) regarding MP Maryana Bezuhla under four articles of the Criminal Code. These involve high treason, disclosure of state secrets, and disclosure of military information.
