The American Film Institute (AFI) has named the 10 best films and 10 most outstanding TV series of 2023, reports UNN.

AFI AWARDS 2023 nominees announced. The institute notes that the top 10 are 10 outstanding films and 10 television programs that are considered culturally and artistically representative of this year's greatest achievements in film.
Among the best films according to AFI:
- "Barbie";
- "Oppenheimer";
- "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse;
- American Fiction;
- Poor Things;
- Past Lives;
- Maestro;
- Killers of the Flower Moon;
- The Holdovers;
- May December.
Among the best series:
- Abbott Elementary;
- The Bear;
- Beef;
- Jury Duty;
- The Last Of Us;
- The Morning Show;
- Only Murders In The Building;
- Poker Face;
- Reservation Dogs;
- Succession.
The winners will be awarded at the annual AFI AWARDS private event on January 12 next year.
