Amid worsening weather conditions in Ukraine, 387 settlements in five regions were left without electricity, traffic on major roads was restored after restrictions the day before, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported, UNN reports.

According to Ukrenergo, 387 settlements in 5 regions (Zakarpattia - 271, Lviv - 60, Donetsk - 41, Kharkiv - 8, and Ivano-Frankivsk - 7) are without power. Regional power company crews are involved in restoring power supply.
According to the Reconstruction Agency, traffic on public roads is free.
On December 21, as a result of deteriorating weather conditions in Zakarpattia and partially Lviv regions (intense snowfall), a temporary restriction on the movement of large vehicles was introduced at 21:30 on the M-06 Kyiv-Chop and H-13 Lviv-Uzhhorod highways.
There was a traffic jam in the Lviv region near the village of Tukholka, Stryi district (a 5 km long traffic jam of 30 trucks due to the uphill climb). The State Emergency Service was involved and assisted in towing 9 vehicles (Lviv region), and 50 fallen trees were cleaned and cut down (Zakarpattia region).
As of 03:50 a.m. on December 22, all traffic restrictions have been lifted and the traffic has been fully restored. Precipitation is currently observed in the form of light snow and rain in the Transcarpathian region.
