In Kyiv, an eight-meter steel sculpture of the "Phoenix" was installed in front of the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, authored by artist Oleksiy Say. It is made in the form of a bird similar to the Ukrainian trident and symbolizes resilience, transformation, and the ability of Ukrainians to pass through fire without losing themselves. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Details

The project was implemented in partnership with the design bureau "Workshop of Miracles" under the leadership of Mitya Zinoviev with the support of the UA Resistance Foundation. The visual concept was created by Oleksiy Say and Bohdana Kosmina on the initiative of Vitaliy Deynega. The producer and project leader is Alla Lopatkina

 - the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads.

It is also noted that at Burning Man, the sculpture was in a wooden box similar to the protective structures around Ukrainian monuments. During the performance, the box was burned - and the "Phoenix" emerged from the fire.
