According to the the newspaper, a US destroyer intercepted four drones fired by by Houthi militants along the Red Sea shipping lanes.
It is noted that the US Navy shot down drones that took off from Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen, controlled by the Houthis in Yemen.
The US destroyer was patrolling the area as part of Operation Prosperity Guardian, a Washington-led mission aimed at preventing the spread of violence on strategic waterways
