The incident was reported to the police at around 20:00. Four citizens - a man and three women - were injured as a result of a tree falling in a park in the central part of the city.
The victims were taken by ambulance to a hospital, where one of the women died as a result of her injuries. Another woman is in serious condition.
Police officers continue to work at the scene. The Investigation Department of the Shevchenkivskyi Police Department initiated criminal proceedings over the incident under Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - official negligence.
