A fire broke out on the territory of an enterprise near Kyiv. Rescuers are working under an elevated call level, with additional units deployed to the scene. Viktoria Ruban, spokesperson for the State Emergency Service (SES) in the Kyiv region, informed the UNN journalist about this.

The fire broke out in the village of Shkarivka, Bila Tserkva district.
The report of the fire was received by the rescue service. Initially, it was reported as a fire involving garbage and a woodshed, but upon the arrival of rescuers, the situation turned out to be more complex.
"Preliminary reports today indicated that the Bila Tserkva district rescue service received a call about garbage and a woodshed on fire on the territory of an enterprise in the village of Shkarivka, Bila Tserkva district. Upon the arrival of rescuers at the scene, it was discovered that the building itself was on fire over an area of approximately 1,600 square meters, along with plastic secondary waste and containers with an unknown substance. Units are currently working at the scene under an elevated call level; a radiation and chemical reconnaissance unit has also been deployed to conduct air quality measurements for hazardous chemicals,"
According to her, there is currently no information regarding any excess of hazardous substances in the air. Also, according to preliminary information, there are no fatalities or injuries as a result of the fire.
The containment of the fire is still ongoing.
Reminder
Rescuers extinguished a fire involving three private houses in the Obolonskyi district covering an area of 400 square meters. There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident.
