Sevastopol's military units were put on alert, the Kerch Bridge was blocked, and something was shot at in the Kuban. Smoke rising from the Russian side is visible across the strait, Crimean Wind reported.

"The smoke on the Taman Peninsula is rising from the Kavkaz port area... It has already arrived there several times before," the report says.

Later, Crimean Wind reported that a Ukrainian missile had blown up a ferry in the port of Kavkaz.

"Judging by the smoke, we can assume that there were fuel tanks on the ferry.

Our source in the Kerch port reports that the ferry Aquatrader, which was already loaded with railroad tankers with fuel, was hit in the Kavkaz port... The ferry with the tanks is burning not just badly, but very badly," the statement said.
