Today, a magnetic storm of medium intensity is expected - 6 points on the Kp-index.
The consequences of such geomagnetic activity, as reported, can be felt by weather-dependent people, people with diseases of the nervous system and those who suffer from chronic diseases (asthma, migraine, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.). Experts advise on this day to drink more water and green tea, add foods rich in magnesium to the diet (legumes, nuts, wholemeal bread, bran), avoid alcohol and caffeine, ventilate the room more often, take care of a full sleep.

Solar flares (also called "geomagnetic storms") are powerful bursts of energy originating from the Sun. Emissions of solar mass, flares on the surface and other actions provoke the energy of the sun to dissipate from it in all directions, including the Earth, colliding with its magnetosphere.
