"Over the past day, 424 SES firefighters extinguished 77 fires in ecosystems over an area of 55.47 hectares," the SES said in a social media post.
It is stated that in addition to eliminating the consequences of hostile aggression on the territory of Ukraine and saving lives, emergency workers extinguish fires in open areas every day.
"In 90% of cases, they are caused by irresponsible and negligent actions of people. In hot weather, even a small spark can destroy large areas, spread to buildings, and threaten people's health and lives," the SES noted.
They urged everyone to follow fire safety rules.
