According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of April 12, the enemy attacked with 88 Shahed-type удар drones and drones-imitators of various types from the directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 09.00, the downing of 56 Shahed-type удар UAVs (UAVs of other types) in the north, south, east and center of the country has been confirmed
24 enemy drones-imitators, as indicated, are lost locally (without negative consequences).
"As a result of the russian attack, Kharkiv region, Kyiv region, Odesa region, Dnipropetrovsk region and Donetsk region were affected," the statement reads.
Kharkiv region
In Kharkiv, at 04:12 on April 12, a hit by an enemy Shahed-type drone was recorded in the ground and 2 UAVs on the territory of a civilian enterprise. One person was injured, said the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov.
Kyiv and the region
In Kyiv, the air raid alert on the night of April 12 lasted for 1 hour and 5 minutes (from 04:11 to 05:17) due to the threat of the use of russian удар UAVs. As a result of the enemy attack, the fall of debris from downed russian drones was recorded:
- Sviatoshynskyi district: fire on an area of 1500 sq. m in a warehouse building; fire in 2 warehouse buildings on an area of 1000 and 150 sq. m with partial destruction, on the territory of an industrial enterprise, in another location; the fall of debris from a downed drone on a sports ground and neighboring buildings. Window glazing and the facade of one of the buildings were damaged. No information about the fire. As of 07:30 - localization of fires continued;
- Darnytskyi district: a private house was destroyed on the territory adjacent to the suburbs of Kyiv.
Two men were injured as a result of the enemy attack. Preliminary, no threat to life, reported in the Kyiv City Military Administration.
At night, the enemy also attacked the Kyiv region with the help of UAVs. Air defense forces were working in the region. There are downed enemy targets. There were no casualties among the population. No hits on critical infrastructure facilities were allowed. But, as the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk reported, there are consequences in two districts:
- as a result of the enemy attack in the Boryspil district, 9 private houses, outbuildings and two cars were damaged. The buildings have windows blown out, facades and roofs cut. One of the houses was partially destroyed;
- warehouse premises were damaged in the Buchanskyi district.
Odesa region
Explosions were heard in Odesa at night, said the mayor of the city Gennady Trukhanov.
Dnipropetrovsk region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, russian UAVs caused a fire and damage in the residential sector, the State Emergency Service reported:
- on the night of April 12, as a result of a drone attack in the city of Dnipro, the roof, facade and windows of the house were damaged;
- a fire broke out in a residential building in the Pavlograd district. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire.
Two farm buildings were also damaged.
According to the State Emergency Service, no one was injured.
Donetsk region
In the evening of April 11, russian troops struck Sloviansk, said the head of the Sloviansk MVA Vadym Liakh. "UAV. Industrial zone. Fortunately, no casualties," he wrote.
