Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are disrupting the enemy's plans, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the aggressor. A total of 117 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day. This is stated in the daily report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
"The border settlements suffered from cynical shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation. In particular, Khrinivka, Bila Bereza, Vintorivka, Chuykivka, Bratenytsia were shelled by enemy artillery, and Baranivka was attacked with MLRS," the statement said.
In the Kharkiv sector, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has been conducting offensive actions in the areas of Hoptivka, Hlyboke, Vysoka Yaruga, and Staritsa, with five clashes in total and one attack still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy conducted six assault attacks near Kucherivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Bohuslavka, Zahryzove and Nova Krystynivka. One firefight is ongoing.
In the Liman sector, the invading army attacked 23 times near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Novosergiivka, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Terny, Toretsk, Hryhorivka and in the direction of Druzhelyubivka, Dibrova, Serebryanka. 16 enemy attacks remained incomplete. In the Siversky sector, the enemy attacked our units four times in the areas of Bilohorivka, Verkhnekamianske and Vyymka. Three attacks are still ongoing.
Ukrainian defense forces repelled two Russian attacks near Chasovyi Yar and Stupochky in the Kramatorsk sector, and another battle is underway.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy attacked four times near Toretsk and Druzhba. Two firefights are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, since the beginning of the day, the occupants have made 17 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near the settlements of Sukha Balka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Dachenske, Novoukrainka, Pokrovsk, Novovasylivka, Novoyelizavetivka and Novooleonivka. The defense forces are holding back the enemy's offensive and repelled 13 attacks, four firefights are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified.
Today, in the Kurakhove sector, the aggressor attacked nine times near the localities of Sontsivka, Stari Terny, Kurakhove and Dachne. Four combat engagements were completed, five more are ongoing.
In the Vremivsk sector, the occupants attacked the positions of our troops 23 times near Novosilka, Kostiantynopilske, Yantarne, Uspenivka, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, Novosilka, Blahodatne and Vremivka, seven engagements are still ongoing.
In the Orikhivske direction, the enemy attacked once in the direction of Novoandriivka.
Our troops repelled one enemy attack in the Prydniprovsky sector, and the enemy was not successful.
In the operational zone in Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 10 attacks by Russian invaders over the course of the day, and 11 more attacks are ongoing. The enemy made about 300 attacks.
According to the General Staff, the situation in other frontline areas has not changed significantly.
