Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eid, who arrived in Ukraine on a visit. What the politicians talked about was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian head of state, UNN reports.
As always with Norway, it was meaningful and quite practical. Our teams have already finalized a bilateral security agreement. We discussed further defense cooperation. But the most urgent thing is to strengthen our air defense. I am grateful to Norway for its support and understanding of Ukraine's needs!

It is noted that Zelenskyy informed the Norwegian diplomat about the current security situation in the country, in particular about the intensification of massive missile attacks on critical infrastructure by the aggressor state of Russia.
Separately, the politicians discussed the situation in the field of air and missile defense of Ukraine and exchanged views on possible ways to expand Norway's assistance in this area.

The President thanked Norway for its significant contribution to strengthening the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. In particular, for the military and humanitarian assistance worth about $7.1 billion. Ukraine receives military and humanitarian aid in the amount of about $7.1 billion as part of the multi-year Nansen program planned for 2023-2027.
We count on the support of the Norwegian government and the Storting in making a decision to significantly expand the amount of assistance to Ukraine under this program.
