As part of a working visit to Odesa region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting on the security situation in the region, the press service of the Presidential Office reported on Sunday evening, UNN reports .

During the meeting, the head of Odesa RSA, Oleg Kiper, spoke about preparations for the heating season, protection of energy facilities and connection of floating power plants. He also reported on the construction of fortifications in the region.
The meeting also discussed compensation to people for destroyed housing, port infrastructure, and the functioning of the grain corridor.
In addition, Zelenskyy heard reports on the operational and crime situation. The head of the Southern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service, Yuriy Petriv, spoke about the situation at the state border in Odesa region.
