Fortifications on the border with Belarus and Volyn region are 99% complete. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with business in Volyn, UNN reports.
"We looked at the fortifications in Volyn and realized that everything is 99% ready. This is very important because these are strong lines of defense. I think that the issue of electricity and security is one of the most important for business," Zelensky said.
He says that information intimidation of Volyn region by Russians may continue.
"The fortifications are serious, and then we see a contingent of up to 5,000 from the Belarusian border, opposite Volyn. I won't talk about the details, but we have a strong defense on our side in terms of personnel, numbers and defense line," the President added.
