The former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, officially left the pre-trial detention center on May 18, where he had been held for almost three days. A bail of 140 million hryvnias was posted for him. This was reported by a correspondent for UNN.

After leaving the detention center, Andriy Yermak spoke with journalists. He confirmed that during his stay in the pre-trial detention center, he was in a paid cell.
"Yes, I stayed in a paid cell," Andriy Yermak reported.
Andriy Yermak also stated that the payment for the cell was made by his lawyer, Ihor Fomin.
"Yes, my lawyer paid for it," the former official stated.

On May 14, 2026, a HACC judge ordered detention for the former head of the OP, Yermak, with the possibility of 140 million UAH bail. SAPO prosecutors had requested the amount be set at 180 million hryvnias.
Yermak is a suspect in a case involving the legalization of 460 million UAH in elite construction near Kyiv.
