The new head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Andrea Maldera, has announced the squad for the friendly matches against Poland and Denmark. Two newcomers will join the national team: defender Oleksandr Romanchuk and midfielder Hennadii Synchuk. Additionally, Andriy Yarmolenko returns to the squad, having last played for the national team back in March 2025, UNN reports with reference to the UAF.

During the press conference, the new head coach of the national team, Andrea Maldera, stated: "When we were forming the lists, we took various factors into account. We believe that the situation at the (right-back - ed.) position is not critical," Maldera said.
