Tomorrow, new power outage schedules will come into effect, which include a number of changes. UNN collected information about the innovations to understand what will change.

"First, in the new approach, the main time period used by DSOs will be 30 minutes. And this is fixed on paper. This is the amount of time that is now allotted for the house to be turned on after a power outage. In total, this approach provides 56 hours of electricity supply during the week for each queue, as opposed to 38 hours in previous versions of the schedules," wrote YASNO CEO Serhii Kovalenko.

As he said, is to make the groups into queues and sub-queues.

"A sub-queue is a queue divided in half. That is, there were six queues. Now there will be twelve sub-queues. Why? To ensure that when Ukrenergo sets a limit for which only half of the users in the queue can be disconnected, it can do so, and not cut off the entire queue. That is, the approach is now more flexible in terms of the number of disconnected consumers," he added.

The changes also provide that the approach to scheduling will be the same across the country.

Tomorrow, you can check your current queue/sub-queue on the YASNO website or in the mobile app. As always, the schedules will be for a week and the next day, which will be updated every evening for tomorrow.

DTEK explains that now there will be at least 3.5 hours with electricity between outages.
