The participants carried placards bearing the names of Georgian servicemen who fell victim to Russian aggression.

Context

On August 7, 2008, the direct military invasion of Georgia by regular Russian troops through the Roki Tunnel in South Ossetia began. This day is considered the actual start of the Five-Day War, although official Moscow propaganda and the puppet regimes insist on August 8 in order to blame the Georgian side for the hostilities.
