In Kyiv, unknown individuals reported the "mining" of a number of state institutions, educational establishments, enterprises, and other facilities, the National Police in the capital reported on Friday, writes UNN.
From a number of other regions, particularly in the west, a wave of "mine threats" is also being reported.
Police are checking information about the mining of objects in Kyiv. Today, law enforcement officers received reports about the mining of a number of state institutions, educational establishments, enterprises, etc.
The police noted that "such reports are often another information attack by the enemy, however, despite this, every address is thoroughly checked by police patrols." Explosive ordnance disposal experts and dog handlers are involved in the checks, as stated.
"We urge you to remain calm and orderly, and if you find suspicious objects, immediately call 102. The results of the check will be announced additionally," the statement reads.
Government and law enforcement officials, in comments to local media, also reported on "mining" threats in Ivano-Frankivsk, in Volyn, where this was also confirmed in the Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers in the region, as well as similar unconfirmed reports in local public groups regarding Lviv and the region.
