In Volyn region, a 20-year-old man was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the rape of a 4-year-old girl. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office, UNN reports.
Following a public prosecution by prosecutors from the Lutsk District Prosecutor's Office in Volyn Oblast, a court found a 20-year-old man guilty of raping a 4-year-old girl in a schoolyard and sentenced him to 13 years in prison.
As noted, a resident of a village in Lutsk district committed the crime in May 2022. The man was awaiting sentencing in custody.
According to the court's ruling, the data on the person who raped a minor must be entered into the Unified Register of Persons Convicted of Crimes Against Sexual Freedom and Sexual Inviolability of Minors.
