The Federal Air Transport Agency reported that Volgograd airport has suspended operations.
Airplanes have not landed or departed since 5:45 Moscow time. At least three flights were delayed, with one diverted to an alternate airport in Samara.
At 8:05 Moscow time, restrictions at the airport were lifted.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that two Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight over Russian regions: one over Volgograd region and the other over Rostov region. The Volgograd administration and the governor of the region did not report on the consequences of the attack on the region.
