On Friday, the U.S. Armed Forces carried out a strike on positions in Syria, killing a senior leader of a terrorist group affiliated with al-Qaeda.
The target of the operation was Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Maqqi, the head of the Hurras al-Din group, which has ties to al-Qaeda.
