US Vice President Kamala Harris called President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday to congratulate him on his election victory. This was said by a senior aide to Harris, reports UNN with reference to AP.
The speaker spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the phone conversation.
The aide said Harris discussed the importance of a peaceful transition of power with Trump before her scheduled defeat acceptance speech Wednesday afternoon.
