Kyiv customs officers customs officers found undeclared jewelry in an international parcel with labeled with luxury brands Cartier, Bvlgari and Van Cleef&Arpels". Jewelry declared as steel beads with a total value of USD 60, were sent from Taiwan to the address of the to the recipient in the city of Dnipro. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Customs, UNN reports.
Details
It is noted that during the customs control of the shipment, customs officers instead of steel beads they found 11 jewelry made of white and yellow metals inlaid with stones. All products were marked with characteristic jewelry markings and markings.
The customs officers immediately identified the transparent stones in the products using a rapid test as diamonds. This was later confirmed by experts,
According to experts, this is:
- six bracelets marked "Cartier" from the "LOVE" collection in white, yellow and pink gold alloy, set with diamonds;
- bracelet and three rings marked "Bvlgari" from the "Serpenti Viper" collection in white gold alloy, set with diamonds;
- "Van Cleef&Arpels" ring from the "Magic Alhambra" collection in yellow gold alloy with an onyx insert.
Kyiv Customs drew up a report on violation of customs rules under Part 2 of Article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The jewelry was seized pending a decision in the case. Their value will be determined later.
