From December 15 to January 13, trains No. 8/7 Odessa-Kharkiv, No. 148/147 Odessa-Kiev and No. 774 Kiev-Shostka will not run. This was reported in Ukrzaliznytsya, reports UNN.
"In the period from December 15 to January 13, we will adjust the timetable of some trains for technical reasons. In particular, they will not run during this period:
- Train No. 8/7 Odessa-Kharkiv;
- Train No. 148/147 Odessa-Kiev;
- Train No. 774/773 Kiev – Shostka," UZ said in a statement.
However, Ukrzaliznytsia indicated that there are alternative routes for passengers:
- Kiev-Odessa: trains No. 105/106 and No. 763/764;
- Kharkiv-Odessa: Train No. 059/060;
- Kiev-Shostka: trains No. 786/785 and No. 788/787.
Solutions for intermediate stations:
For residents of Poltava:
- To Odessa: first you need to get to Kiev by intercity+ train No. 723 Kharkiv – Kiev or by trains No. 15 Kharkiv – Yasinya, No. 17 Kharkiv – Uzhgorod, No. 711 Kramatorsk – Kiev or No. 129 Poltava – Uzhgorod. Then from Kiev to Odessa by train No. 105 Kiev – Odessa.
- Return train No. 106 Odessa – Kiev, and then transfer to intercity+ train No. 724 Kiev – Kharkiv.
For residents of Kremenchug:
- Via Kiev: first by train No. 129/130 Kremenchuk – Uzhgorod to Kiev, and then transfer to train No. 105/106 Kiev – Odessa.
- In the opposite direction: by intercity train No. 764 Odessa – Kiev, and then by regional train No. 792 Kiev – Kremenchuk.
For residents of Cherkasy:
- To Odessa: by train No. 43/44 Cherkasy – Ivano-Frankivsk to Kiev, and then by train No. 105 Kiev – Odessa.
- Reverse: similar route.
