Ukrainian reconnaissance men "Husy-9" together with artillerymen of the 15th separate artillery brigade "Black Forest" destroyed the enemy's newest electronic warfare system "Podlet" worth $5 million. This was shown and told by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, UNN reports.
The Ukrainian Defence Intelligence Group "Goose-9" together with the 15th Separate Airborne Brigade "Black Forest" detected and attacked the Russian 48YA6 K-1 "podlet" radar. The antenna-feeder installation and the diesel station that powered the complex were successfully hit.
Details
The Ukrainian military noted the cost of this Russian installation. According to their data, the radar they destroyed in working order was worth more than 700 million rubles or more than $5 million.
It is noted that the "Podlet" radar station is a relatively new Russian development - it has been in service with the army of the aggressor state since 2015.
The enemy used this system to detect and transmit the coordinates of targets to Russian S-300/S-400 air defense missile systems .
