It is noted that this will be the first visit of a high-ranking Ukrainian diplomat to New Delhi after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Kuleba's trip will take place at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Subramanyam Jaishankar after a telephone conversation between the two countries' diplomats earlier this year, an Indian official told the newspaper on condition of anonymity.
The "peace plan" presented by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy envisages, among other things, the withdrawal of Russian troops, the restoration of Ukraine's internationally recognized borders, and the holding of Russia accountable for its aggression.
In addition to the talks with Indian officials, Kuleba also intends to assess the activities of the intergovernmental commission between Ukraine and India, which is responsible for maintaining economic, cultural, and technological ties between the two countries.
One of the officials said that an official announcement of the visit is expected next week. Indian media first reported on Kuleba's planned trip on Tuesday, March 19.
