The Ukrainian-Austrian Association plans to build small hydroelectric power plants in Lviv region with the help of Austrian technologies, according to the head of the Lviv UAA Maksym Kozytskyi, UNN reports.

The Ukrainian-Austrian Association has expressed its intention to locate small hydroelectric power plants in Lviv region and to use Austrian experience, technology, and equipment for this purpose.
The President of the Association, Alfred Praus, informed the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, during their meeting.
Kozytskyi supports this idea, but notes that before starting the project, the investor must address a number of issues, such as proper documentation, choosing an equipment supplier, justifying the cost, and signing a loan agreement with a bank. He believes that if these conditions are met, the project can become an interesting case.
Other areas of cooperation were also discussed, such as the development of trade and exports to international markets, the improvement of technological processes in the food industry with a focus on organic products and deep processing, as well as expertise in electrical engineering and the construction of new plants, which can create new jobs and generate tax revenues.
