Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky said that Russian troops have not made significant progress at the front. He called their local successes only tactical.

The creeping victories of the Russian army are "tactical" - they are local achievements, and the enemy has not made any significant progress.  This was announced by Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky in an interview with The Guardian, UNN reports.

Details

Syrsky called Russia's creeping victories "tactical" - local achievements, not "operational" breakthroughs such as the capture of a major city.

"In principle, the enemy has not made any significant progress," he said.

Syrsky added that the front line is 3,700 kilometers long. Active hostilities continue on its 977 km, which is "twice the length of the border between Germany and France.

Syrsky also said that if Russian troops launch an offensive in the south of Zaporizhzhia region, the Defense Forces will "give them a good response."
