Turkey has prepared a new draft peace treaty to resolve the Ukrainian-russian war, which provides for a "freeze" on the front line and a non-aligned status for Ukraine. This was reported by the russian media, which allegedly managed to familiarize themselves with the document, UNN reports.

russian journalists assure that this plan is being promoted through the mediation of Turkish President Recep Erdogan and is an initiative of the Turkish side.
It is emphasized that the draft document has already been received by all three parties - Ukraine, Turkey, and russia. It is noted that it is based on the documents of the first negotiations in Istanbul, and also includes some of the wording of May 2022.

The Turkish draft of the new agreement provides for
- A mutual commitment by the United States and russia to the non-use of nuclear weapons under any circumstances and the renewal of the Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty, with no unilateral withdrawal from it in the future.
- prohibition of interference in the internal affairs of another country in any way that could destabilize its government.
- freezing the war behind the existing front line.
- a commitment to hold in 2040 referendums: an all-Ukrainian referendum on the country's foreign policy course, and referendums under international supervision on all Ukrainian territories annexed by russia at the time of the war's freeze.
- guarantees of Ukraine's non-aligned status until 2040.
- exchange of prisoners according to the formula "all for all"
- russia does not object to Ukraine's accession to the European Union.

Sources in the russian media suggest that this initiative may be supported by a number of European politicians, and it will also be offered to individual countries in the Global South.
At the same time, russian journalists themselves believe that the likelihood of this document being adopted is low, as it is "at least the ninth project of this kind.
