Ukraine ranks seventh among Poland's largest export partners. This was stated by the Minister of Finance and Economy of Poland, Andrzej Domański, during the conference "The Road to the Ukraine Recovery Conference: Security and Defense Dimension" in Rzeszów, reports UNN.

According to Domański, Poland is not limited to political support for Ukraine, but is creating conditions for its economic resilience and future development.

The Minister emphasized that the Russian-Ukrainian war has changed approaches to economic policy in Europe, and security has become its key element.
"Without guaranteeing security, our European prosperity and our European values will be under threat," Domański noted.
He added that the division between economic policy and security policy no longer exists.
"Defense today is the foundation of economic growth," the Polish official emphasized.
Separately, Domański drew attention to the support for Ukrainian business. According to him, Poland was the first in the world to open a deferred payment trade mechanism for Ukrainian enterprises through the credit insurance system.
"Ukraine needs not only humanitarian and military aid. It needs conditions for the private sector to operate, as it is the basis of the state's viability," he stressed.
The Minister concluded that Warsaw is helping Kyiv not only politically but also economically.
"Poland is creating conditions for the economic functioning of Ukraine and the foundation for its future development," Domański stated.
