Sibiga stressed that Ukraine and Poland are seeking to sign an agreement on joint border control. In particular, he noted that the transit of agricultural goods from Ukraine should be carried out without obstacles, in accordance with the EU principles of "ways of solidarity", ensuring efficient and safe movement of goods across the border.
In addition, the ministers discussed other aspects of bilateral cooperation related to the border sphere, in particular, improving customs procedures and improving the level of security at the border. Sibiga noted the importance of active infrastructure development to simplify border crossing, which is especially relevant in the context of the war and the important role of Poland as a strategic partner for Ukraine.
