The war is on, and every day adults and children from all over Ukraine suffer from hostilities. The problem of burn units is particularly acute: they are overloaded and need new equipment and reconstruction of their premises.
That is why the Aurora multimarket chain has implemented a charity initiative called "Country of Native Hearts". Its main goal was to help children who are being treated in the burn unit of the Unbreakable Center. This department needs to be renovated, as it does not have the proper conditions for treating children with severe burns. Therefore, such patients are forced to be treated abroad, far from their loved ones.
As part of this campaign, customers of multimarkets in different cities and towns of Ukraine bought symbolic stickers with Joyce's characters and words of support for only UAH 2 (for every UAH 80 in a receipt or purchase of partner products). The stickers could also be purchased at the regular price of UAH 10.
For each sticker for 2 UAH, 1 UAH was transferred to the restoration of the children's burn unit at the Unbreakable Center. From the 10 UAH stickers, 9 UAH went to the charity.
The campaign lasted for almost three months, and during this time, the network's customers managed to raise UAH 2,182,379. "Aurora also joined the collection, adding another UAH 2,817,621 to the amount raised. In total, the burn center received exactly UAH 5 million, which was so much needed for repairs.
Customers also signed stickers and stuck them on heart posters that were in each store. From these posters, Aurora made one big heart, which was donated to the children's burn unit to support the little patients.
Today, favorite brands should not only satisfy their consumers, but also support society and actually confirm the values they broadcast. Aurora's charity initiatives prove this in practice and serve as an example for others. And most importantly, they help unite people around good deeds.
