U.S. President Donald Trump will undergo a routine medical and dental examination at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in late May. This was reported by the Associated Press, according to UNN.

The White House stated that the examination is scheduled for May 26 and is part of an annual medical and preventive check-up. This marks Trump's fourth publicly known visit to doctors since his return to the presidency.
Trump will turn 80 next month. He remains the oldest person ever elected President of the United States. The politician himself has repeatedly stated that he feels well and has no serious health problems. Recently, he said he "feels the same as he did 50 years ago."
Trump was previously diagnosed with venous insufficiency
Following a medical exam in April 2025, the President's physician, Sean Barbabella, stated that Trump is "fully fit" to perform the duties of the head of state. It was also reported that he had lost approximately 20 pounds compared to 2020.
Last year, Trump underwent additional testing due to leg swelling. At that time, doctors diagnosed him with chronic venous insufficiency—a common condition among the elderly related to impaired blood circulation in the veins.
The White House also explained bruises on the President's hands as being caused by frequent handshakes and the use of aspirin, which Trump takes for the prevention of heart attacks and strokes.
