US President Donald Trump stated that he and Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, "seem to be getting along well," despite the fact that the Ayatollah has not appeared in public since the start of the US war in Iran, UNN reports.
When asked by the New York Post about the Ayatollah's condition, Trump replied: "I haven't heard he's doing great."
"If you believe the stories, he's, you know, missing a lot of different body parts," the US President said. It was reported that Khamenei was seriously injured during the first volley of US strikes against Iran, which killed his father, Ali Khamenei.
