Thanks to the SBU evidence base, another FSB agent, who acted in Dnipropetrovs'k region, was sentenced to a real term of imprisonment. It is a 31-year-old resident of Yurievsky district, who at the beginning of the full-scale war worked in the local unit of the State Emergency Service. It is noted that the occupiers needed intelligence to plan combat operations, including those involving sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

SBU counterintelligence detained the traitor in March 2022. Based on law enforcement materials, the court sentenced him to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. The investigation found that the former official, on his own initiative, contacted the FSB through pro-Kremlin blogger Yuriy Podolyak, with whom he corresponded on his Telegram channel.

After remote recruitment, the enemy propagandist acted as a "liaison" between the agent and his supervisor, an FSB officer. To communicate, the agent created a fake account, which he used in an anonymous chat of a popular messenger.

During the search, the SBU seized mobile phones with evidence of his reconnaissance and subversive activities in favor of Russia. Based on the SBU materials, the court found the offender guilty under Part 2 Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
