Ukrainian servicemen in the Czech Republic will be able to continue their training in 2024 in 2024. Today, at a plenary session members of the Czech parliament finally approved the government's proposal to continue training of Ukrainian military in the Czech Republic to fight the Russian aggressor.

This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the Czech Ministry of Defense.

Today, at the plenary session, deputies finally approved a proposal to involve the forces and means of the Ministry of Defense in foreign operations and the stay of the armed forces of other states in the territory of the Czech Republic in 2023 and 2024. (...) The priority of this proposal is to ensure conditions for the continuation of training of Ukrainian servicemen in the territory of the Czech Republic and abroad.

It is noted that the current mandate for Ukrainian military personnel to stay in the Czech Republic expires at the end of this year, but the new one will extend it for a year - until December 31, 2024  According to official information, by the end of 2023, Czech and Polish by the end of 2023, a total of about 4,000 Ukrainian military personnel.

According to CNN Prima News Prima News, Czech President Petr Pavel said that the regime of Russian President Putin openly declares that it is fighting against the collective West. Pavel noted that Russia's imperial ambitions will have no limits if they are not set.

Pavel also emphasized that countries that are not yet members of the European Union and NATO face great risks.
