According to Gizmodo, the total solar eclipse began in Mexico at about 14:07 local time (21:07 Kyiv time), moving to Texas at 14:27 (21:47 Kyiv time) and Maine at about 15:35 (22:35 Kyiv time). Its path passed through major cities in the United States and Canada, and an even larger area was partially eclipsed.
