Three pilot regions - Mykolaiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv - are developing strategies to adapt to climate change and high temperatures, including measures to counteract the effects of hot weather.

In three pilot regions of the country, work is underway to create strategies for adapting to high temperatures. These regions are developing a set of measures to counter the effects of hot weather. This was reported by Ruslan Strilets, head of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, on the air of "We-Ukraine", UNN reports.

"We are working with three regions - Mykolaiv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv - to develop a climate change adaptation strategy for these three pilot regions. We have certain 3 scenarios that will occur, and we are developing measures on how to develop and grow in such climatic conditions," said Ruslan Strilets.

According to him, a lot of money is needed to implement such measures, but one country cannot afford such changes, so it is important to have a common track with other countries.
