The Prime Minister noted that the enemy has intensified attacks on civilian energy facilities. "Last night we suffered losses in the power grid again. But at the same time, it remains balanced. No blackout schedules are applied or planned.
"We are promptly repairing the damaged equipment. We have agreed on supplies with all partner countries that have similar power equipment. This aid is already arriving.
We are also strengthening the protection of energy facilities with air defense and electronic warfare systems. Despite this, some of the missiles and drones of Russian terrorists still reach their targets. Therefore, we must be conscious and consume electricity responsibly," added Shmyhal.
In addition, he said, the relevant ministries are working to supply the frontline regions with so-called decentralized sources of electricity: gas turbines, cogeneration units, and modular boiler houses.
"Decentralization of the energy system is one of the most effective ways to make it less vulnerable to Russian missiles and drones," the Prime Minister summarized.
