At The Game Awards 2024, CD Projekt Red announced their first new game after Cyberpunk 2077 - The Witcher IV.
Although the long trailer doesn't show any gameplay, a key detail was confirmed: the main character this time will be Tsiri, not Geralt of Rivia. Geralt's voice is briefly heard at the end of the trailer, but the character himself is not shown, as this is Ciri's story.
Reactions to the trailer are very mixed. Many people complain about Ciri's appearance, as commentators think she looks much older and "unattractive.
