According to the Ukrainian State Film Agency, this film tells the dramatic story of Ukrainian writers of the "executed revival" period, set in 1927.

"On Stalin's order, the Slovo cooperative house was built in Kharkiv. The most prominent Ukrainian writers were moved into comfortable apartments. All of them became participants in an experiment aimed at developing a new type of Soviet writer and total control over the creative process in order to create a single artistic method of socialist realism, and not all of them agree to glorify the cult of Stalin. Unexpectedly for the residents of the Slovo house, an unknown young writer, Vladimir Akimov, is moved in. Who is he? No one knows. With his arrival, strange events begin to unfold in the Slovo house, and the walls are still silent about them.

- said the Ukrainian State Film Agency.

The film stars: Dmytro Oliynyk, Viacheslav Dovzhenko, Nina Naboka and Maryna Koshkina. The film was produced by Yulia Cherniavska, Oleh Shcherbyna, Pylyp Illienko and Rostyslav Martyniuk.

The film was produced by Fresh Production Group with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency and the Solidarity International Charitable Foundation. The film's theatrical distributor is B&H.

- the agency added.
