The Trade Union of Aviation Workers of Ukraine, at a meeting of the Presidium of the Central Committee, nominated the current Head of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, Serhiy Byzov, for re-election to the post of Head of the FPU. The members of the Presidium unanimously nominated the current Head of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, Serhiy Byzov, for election to the post of Head of the FPU at the IX Congress.
In addition, delegates to the congress were determined, and representatives of the Trade Union of Aviation Workers of Ukraine were delegated to the new composition of the Council and the Presidium of the FPU. It is noted that this ensures proper representation of the interests of aviation industry workers at the national level.
At the meeting, a decision was made to elect Oleksiy Shabanov as acting Head of the Trade Union of Aviation Workers of Ukraine.
The press service added that the meeting also discussed issues related to employment in civil aviation, as well as strengthening the protection of labor and socio-economic rights of workers. The participants of the meeting emphasized the need to consolidate the efforts of trade union organizations in difficult socio-economic conditions, as well as the importance of an active position in defending the rights of workers.
It should be noted that the IX Congress of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine will take place on May 21, 2026. A new head of the organization is planned to be elected there.
