The "Kairos" battalion of the 414th brigade "Magyar's Birds" is a priority target for the Russians, as this very unit is most actively involved in bombing Moscow. A report about it was published by the British newspaper The Times, writes UNN.
"The 'Kairos' battalion of the 414th brigade 'Magyar's Birds' is a priority target for the Russians. They have been bombing Moscow for two weeks, humiliating President Putin before his people and on the world stage," the publication writes.
This is a unique report, as the unit had never before allowed the media access to it. Battalion members must abstain from alcohol, conceal their place of work from friends and family, and regularly undergo polygraph tests to prove they have not disclosed any classified information.
This very unit is behind the attack on the Moscow refinery.
Recall that on June 18, Ukrainian drones attacked the oil refinery in Kapotnya, on the outskirts of the Russian capital. The Moscow refinery, located 15 km from the Kremlin, has effectively become a "kill zone" for Ukrainian strike drones, as this was not the first attack on this plant (the previous one was on June 16).

The Times quotes unit fighters who are confident they are making history.
"A few years ago, Putin told everyone he could conquer us in three days. Now he sees Russia burning. We didn't start this, but we are taking revenge. Justice has come," says one of the commanders.
The unit launches long-range strike drones into Russian territory or medium-range drones into occupied territory almost daily. They coordinate their actions with similar units, which sometimes join in using Ukraine's new cruise missiles.
The publication recalls that last week, Ukrainian attacks hit eight oil and gas facilities, factories producing precision instruments for missiles and rocket fuel, as well as military logistics warehouses — all located in 12 Russian regions. The farthest attacks involved drones that flew at least 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

"The technologies we have today mean that war is no longer just something where you can enter someone else's territory and keep them at arm's length. It will return to your home," says a commander with the call sign "Panama." "And when you smell the burning war near your doorstep, you perceive it completely differently than when you just watch a picture on TV."
Preparing for their strikes on Moscow, "Kairos" systematically destroyed Russian anti-aircraft systems on the approaches to the city for two months. "We operated as a battalion for about 200 days and during this period hit approximately 200 targets," explains a fighter with the call sign "Ray."
He adds that these strikes put Putin and his commanders before a dilemma: "Now, if they resort to replacing them, if they concentrate a lot of air defense assets around Moscow, it will open up many other vulnerable spots in various places, for example, in Crimea."
"Kairos" and the 414th brigade now play a key role in the long-range strikes of the Unmanned Systems Forces, which have significantly expanded their operations, increasing the number of long-range attacks fourfold and medium-range drone strikes 28-fold compared to the same period last year.
The unit includes foreigners, some former special forces fighters, including several Britons, Americans, Europeans, and one Japanese person.
