The SBU struck the "Cherkasy" station in Bashkortostan, which annually transports nearly 2 million tons of petroleum products. The strike complicates the logistics of fuel supply for the Russian army.

The Security Service of Ukraine confirmed the strike on an oil pumping station in Bashkortostan, which is one of the key facilities of the Transneft – Ural system, reports UNN.

The Security Service of Ukraine successfully struck the linear production and dispatch station (LPDS) "Cherkasy" in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The facility is located 1,500 kilometers from the state border of Ukraine. The special operation was carried out as part of the task set by the President of Ukraine to systematically reduce the military-economic potential of the russian federation. At least eight SBU drones were used against the facility. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out in the area of the tank farm and at the production facilities of the station

- reported the SBU.

The LPDS "Cherkasy", as noted, is one of the key facilities of the Transneft – Ural system. The station ensures the reception, accumulation, storage, and pumping of light petroleum products from the Ufa oil refining hub to main petroleum product pipelines. Nearly 2 million tons of petroleum products are transported through this facility annually, and the tank farm includes 27 tanks with a total volume of over 385 thousand cubic meters.

Strikes on such facilities, the SBU emphasized, "significantly complicate the logistics of supplying petroleum products in the central and eastern regions of russia, and also negatively affect the functioning of the fuel transportation system that meets the needs of the military-industrial complex of the aggressor state"

"The SBU operates across the entire territory of russia, and there are no longer safe regions for the occupier, even in the deep rear. We consistently find and destroy the infrastructure that supplies the enemy's army with fuel, logistics, and resources for war. Each long-range strike forces the invader to pay an increasingly higher price for the war against Ukraine," emphasized the head of the SBU, Yevhenii Khmara.
