The Russian Defense Ministry announced the start of planned exercises of the Russian Navy in the operational zones of the Northern, Pacific and Baltic fleets, as well as in the area of responsibility of the Caspian Flotilla. The participation of the Black Sea Fleet in the exercises is not reported, reports UNN.

It is reported that associations and formations of the Russian Navy have begun scheduled exercises in the operational zones of the Northern, Pacific and Baltic Fleets, as well as in the area of responsibility of the Caspian Flotilla.
About 300 surface ships and boats, submarines and support vessels, up to 50 aircraft, more than 200 units of military and special equipment, and more than 20,000 servicemen and civilian personnel of units and formations are involved in combat training activities
It is noted that within several days the crews of ships, naval aviation units and coastal troops of the three fleets and the Caspian Flotilla will perform more than 300 combat exercises with practical use of weapons. This includes anti-aircraft missile firing, artillery firing at sea and air training targets, combat exercises on setting passive interference to withdraw forces from under the attack of a conditional “enemy”, as well as on the use of anti-submarine weapons of surface ships and naval aviation of the Navy.

Dmytro Pletenchuk, a representative of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Navy, reported that the Ukrainian Navy has achieved significant success in countering the Russian aggressor in the Black Sea. The total number of destroyed enemy ships reached 28 units.
Pletenchuk also reported that the rf black sea navy was not prepared for what fire damage could be inflicted on their main base and for long-term warfare.
