Members of the Russian and US teams in Riyadh, who have been negotiating for several hours, took a lunch break, Russian media report.
The parties were scheduled to continue negotiations in the near future.
Former Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Senator Grigory Karasin, who heads the Russian delegation, said that negotiations with US representatives are "creative", there is an "interesting discussion of topical issues". According to Karasin, Moscow and Washington "manage to maintain contact and understand each other's point of view", Russian media indicate.
