The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has submitted a draft law to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine that proposes to terminate a number of documents on free trade between Ukraine and Belarus, UNN reports.

The draft law proposes to terminate the effect of the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly of 02.03.2022 No. ES-11/1 "Aggression against Ukraine" due to the fundamental change of circumstances and taking into account the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, its sovereignty and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders, the involvement of the Republic of Belarus in the illegal use of force against Ukraine, in particular, starting from 24.02.2022, the military aggression of the Russian Federation and the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly of 02.03.2022 No. ES-11/1 "Aggression against Ukraine":
- The Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on Free Trade, signed on December 17, 1992 in Kyiv and ratified by the Law of Ukraine of March 19, 1999 No. 531-XIV;
- The Protocol between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on withdrawal from the free trade regime to the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on free trade dated December 17, 1992, signed on February 13, 1998 in Kyiv and ratified by the Law of Ukraine No. 531-XIV of March 19, 1999;
- The Protocol between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on Amendments to the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on Free Trade of December 17, 1992, signed on October 18, 2005 in Minsk and ratified by the Law of Ukraine of December 20, 2006 No. 500-V.
